Children's Church
Sunday mornings only
Children’s Church is an option for 3-year-olds through 5th graders. First, children will worship in the sanctuary with the congregation, then will be dismissed with their leader before Pastor Paul’s sermon. Children’s Church is only offered on Sunday mornings and has a rotation of leaders who make the Word of God come alive for students through puppet skits, age-appropriate Bible teachings, crafts and games.
A small snack and water are offered to children while in Children’s Church. If your child has an allergy, please make the teacher aware beforehand. All church employees and volunteers who work with children at church have undergone thorough and accredited background checks prior to beginning their duties and responsibilities.
For those uncomfortable leaving their parents, we offer “Busy Bags” which contain crayons, coloring books, stickers, random small toys, etc. A “Busy Bag” can be found in the hallway past the nursery, across from the water fountain. Please return the “Busy Bag” after service concludes.

At First Baptist-Eminence we try hard to create a clean, welcoming, engaging and comfortable area for birth to 2 year olds. Nursery is available during Sunday School & Sunday Morning Worship.
We know you may be tempted to “peek” or “check-in” on your child, but this may disrupt your child’s contentment while not in your presence. Once you drop your child off, be assured our staff will contact you via our vibrating paging system if a need arises.
Our main goal is for your infant and young toddler to know and feel God’s love so you can worship the Lord child-free. If your child has an allergy, please make a nursery volunteer aware at drop-off. Adult Bible Study
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays at 6:30 p.m.
Pastor Paul leads the adult Bible Study classes on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. Through each service, time is spent examining God’s Word in order to understand it and be changed by it. Through Pastor Paul’s teachings one will soon realize the entire Bible is about Jesus Christ and the only way to know God is to come through his Son.
Through Wednesday & Sunday evening Bible Study one will see Christ more clearly, know him more deeply, and love him more fervently.

Kids: Preschool to 6th Grade
Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m.
First Baptist-Eminence truly loves kids and embraces a commitment to support families by teaching God’s Word and maintaining an atmosphere that inspires faith and growth.
Our TeamKID Wednesday night ministry focuses on guiding children through each stage of life with fun and intentionality. Through a LIVE worship band, purposeful teaching and engaging activities designed specifically for ages PK through 6th grade. TeamKID leaders help school age children learn God’s truth and shape a biblical understanding of the world. In a safe and nurturing environment, kids know they are loved and cared for. They’ll beg to return each week!

Our First Baptist-Eminence Warriors for Christ Youth Group ministry offers JHigh and High School students a fun and vibrant community in which they find a place to belong, build lasting relationships and deepen their walks with God.
A LIVE Worship band and in-depth Bible Study at Youth Group on Wednesday nights teach teens how to live with purpose and meaning.
Our Youth Group leaders understand that the teenage years can be difficult to navigate for many, but they also know that they are vital for spiritual growth and maturity. Warriors for Christ Youth Group seeks to meet students’ unique needs while ensuring a solid foundation of biblical truth that prepares them to confront and navigate the obstacles they encounter.

Sign Language Ministry
Since 2008, The Hilltop Gang has been sharing biblically inspired sign language programs that glorify God.
Founded by two Deaf men with a vision for ministry, this group has grown to include 43 members over the years, bringing their unique programs to churches in Winona and Eminence, Missouri. Led by Jimmie Huffman, the 2024 team includes Tommy Roberts, Andy Buford, Brian Duarte, Christian Kaveny, Lova, Malayla, and Zayne.
The Hilltop Gang reminds us that ministry comes in many forms, all with the same purpose: to honor God and connect hearts through service.
